New Moon September 2019

September’s New Moon is in Libra on September 28th, 2019 at 5:27 PM UTC.

Balance, is the trending keyword to describe Libra, it comes from its symbol – the scale. It is the only Zodiac that is not represented by a mammal, a mystical arcane symbolizing that Libra has the most objective point of view for mankind. Hence why we also see judicial work, diplomacy, contracts, and treaties associated to this sign.

It makes this New Moon a great moment to sit and observe your life through that objective point of view. Then, ask yourself:

Am I happy with my current reality?

If the answer is, no. What course of action do you need to take to restore it?

If the answer is, yes. What course of action do you need to take to maintain it?

Libra’s ruling planet is Venus, the planet of beauty, money, relationships, and values. Where and how these things are expressed make up your identity, from what your tastes are (food, beverage, clothing) all the way to what you affiliate with (mindset, values, and people). Under this New Moon you’re going to see that transformation of your identity clearly. It’s the culprit to how you answer the question, “Am I happy with my current reality?”. For anyone who answered, no, look at this New Moon insight as a boost of work that will match your external world with your new inner world.

Despite the existential (crisis?) questions for this New Moon, it’s all funneled through loving and rational Libra, keeping you level headed as you dig deeper into your soul’s new direction.

Adjustment was the Tarot card that was drawn for this Libra New Moon. For Rider-Waite students, Adjustment is Crowley’s version of Justice. It carries the energy of Libra. This is very much in-line with the New Moon feels!

Adjustment likes to show up after a long transition that just felt unfair. The “unfair vibe” I’m speaking of looks like this:

– Collecting debt.
– Flakey or missed opportunities.
– Drawn out issues with the government.
– Legal battles.
– Jealousy.
– Resentment.

Adjustment is the recovery period after any of these things. It is telling you that what you think you want and when you want it wouldn’t serve your best interest, like what The Rolling Stones would say, “you can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, well, you might find you get what you need”.

Tying this into the New Moon, what has felt unfair will sort itself out only if you leave it in the hands of The Universe and/or that it may not be something that’s going to work with your new identity revealed under this New Moon. Whatever the verdict is, know it was all for your highest good and trust something better will replace it in your favor.
